Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is an ancient science of yogic exercise and meditation that promotes health, happiness, and awareness. Kundalini Yoga uses asanas (physical postures ), pranayam (breathing techniques ), mantras (sound vibrations) and mudras (hand postures) in Kriyas. Kriyas- meaning action, are set exercises for specific purposes, such as strengthening the nervous system, building up the immune or glandular system, cleansing the circulatory system as well as many other benefits to mind, body and spirit. Through Kundalini Yoga, the body becomes open and receptive to change and healing. The practice of this yoga can give you the strength, courage and radiance to meet all of life’s challenges gracefully and promote optimum physical and emotional health. All levels welcome.
