ABOUT Your Yoga + Art + Gastronomia Retreat

After she fell in love with Italy on her honeymoon, Micheline Berry specifically designed this boutique “yoga meets culture” immersion retreat with a focus on integrating the “Healing Arts” of yoga, meditation and mindfulness practice with the “Fine Arts” of culture. Both arise from a committed, soulful journey inward. We will begin each day with a transformational Liquid Asana™ Yoga for Creativity and Meditation journey (many accompanied by Joey Lugassy’s
live music).

During the day and evening we will enjoy a deep, authentic immersion into Italian Culture, from Lucca’s spectacular art & architecture, to the rolling hills of Tuscany & the Mediterranean sea-side charm of Cinque Terre, to volcanic hot springs; fabulous wines and gastronomia (“the art of good eating”) throughout.

In addition to our magical stay at an authentic Tuscan Home Estate with a 180 degree view of the Tuscan hills and Lucca, including gardens, salt-water pool, wood burning pizza oven and Turkish Sauna, our retreat includes 4 amazing excursions:
 A Day Trip to Cinque Terre!
 An afternoon at an authentic Italian Thermal Spa
 A Tuscan wine tasting excursion.
 Aperitivo at the historical Villa Grabau, followed by a Puccini opera
(Lucca is the birthplace of Puccini).

We’ve designed this retreat for you to experience a lot with great ease and with plenty of wide, open spaces in the itinerary to relax and/or explore on your own. One fee practically covers all, which we have outlined in detail below.

It is our belief that all art arises from a courageous gaze inward, an elegant listening, and subsequent discipline to actualize one’s own art in the world. It is our intention to leave you inspired, well fed, physically renewed and in touch with the wild art within you.

This retreat is OPEN TO ALL LEVELS of yoga, meditation, art and life experience. We look forward to taking this amazing journey and celebrating the art of life with you.

To La Dolce Vita…
Micheline Berry
