Join Catherine Annis for a week of yoga, massage, and total relaxation in rural Turkey. High in the hills overlooking the Torquoise Coast, Huzur Vadisi, our magical and addictive retreat centre, is surrounded by virgin pine forest, olive trees and goats.
Accommodation is in yurts, emphasizing the “back to nature” approach of this beautiful, secluded place.
Type of Event
We gather together at the venue on Monday, 7th September and stay until the following Monday, 14th September. Each day follows roughly the same pattern. Rise, breakfast on traditional Turkish fare of tomatoes, home made bread and cheese, muesli, yoghurt and maybe eggs. Yoga for a couple of hours. Chill out by the pool until lunch. More chilling out, time for a massage or, for the adventurous, a walk in the hills. Yoga for another couple of hours before dinner and finally bed. It's a simple, and deeply relaxing schedule, designed to help you really let go.
From £685 per person (earlybird rate for bookings before 31st May, 2015), sharing in twin or triple yurts.
There are 3 single yurts available for an additional supplement of £249.
There are also 4 single canvas tents available which are not subject to the supplement. All singles are booked on a first come first served basis. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
The cost includes all yoga, accommodation and meals for the week, but not flights, insurance, or optional extras (ie excursions, massages etc).

The yoga is inspired by the work of Vanda Scaravelli, encouraging a gentle unwinding of long held tensions to reveal the natural flexibility of the body. Classes are typically 2 hours long, giving plenty of time for individual attention. The work is slow paced and alignment based, focusing on gently awakening our physical awareness and helping us find true freedom in our movement. This form of yoga encourages a gentle unwinding of long held tensions, revealing the natural flexibility of the body, especially the spine.
Food is locally sourced and mostly organic, and visitors often claim it is one of the highlights of our stay.
We will be joined by Robert Annis, our very talented and intuitive massage therapist, who will be on hand to soothe aching muscles and help everyone to simply wind down, and enjoy the simplicity and beauty of this lovely space. Relax, let go, and leave feeling longer, stronger, and with a deeper connection to your natural self.
