About Kura Kura

Kura Kura is a great place to relax, enjoy, share and learn. It is situated along a small river, a few steps away from the sea. Originally it was built as a family house and new rooms have been added all in the same Java style, but with modern basic comfort that we are used to in our western world. You can really feel how each room is decorated with love and care.
The heart of Kura Kura is the yoga shala or community space next to the small pool. Feel free to dip in whenever you like. Most rooms are built around the pool. Rooms are clean and fresh as the sea breeze, but protected and safe as the shield of a Kura Kura (Turtle).

Accommodation / Meals

All rooms have a very different character, but equipped with the comfort of the ensuit showers, western toilets and spacious sleeping area. The bedrooms are designed in a very simple but beautiful way. To avoid the mosquitos at night, each bed is covered with a fine net. The veranda can be enjoyed to hear the sound of the nearby ocean. There is the option of booking your own private room or sharing with another yogui if possible.
The food is vegeterian, and there will three delicious meals a day that are nutritious and colorful! Breakfast includes fresh fruits, detox drink (Jamu), yoghurt, granola from the famous Bali Buddha, organic jams, bread and eggs. Lunch and Dinner is a warm buffet and varies daily. You will leave the table feeling full and content.

Petra Lindros is a dedicated teacher and practitioner of Vinyasa Flow Yoga as well as Slow Flow, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. She did her teacher trainings in Spain, Yoga Alliance Certified in both hatha yoga as well as Raja Yoga (Science of the mind).
Her main influences and teachings come from Desikachar, Donna Farhi, Shiva Rea and Paul Grilley. But every teacher, every class has formed her to find her voice and to be the instrument for the students to connect with their own body, mind and heart.
Her own style of teaching is characterized by her warm and calm presence, the clear and inspiring way of transmitting her knowledge to others and her unbiased attention for every individual student. In her teachings she interweaves the yoga practice with the philosophy of Yoga - how to find, maintain and share the peace of mind.
