Full Description

This Level II Yoga Teacher Training, Radiantly Alive’s first three week intensive, is custom designed for yogis and teachers who are ready to take their practice and their service to another level. Whether you’ve been practicing for many years or are still new if you're committed to going deeper in your practice, to overhauling and upgrading your teaching and are firmly dedicated to living yoga according to your own definition - this training is for you.

The training relies on the self-examination and work that lies at the practical heart of yoga - what happens when we are on the mat. The proof of our learning takes shape through the grit required to strip away who we have been as a teacher in order to discover who we can be as a leader of bodies and souls in the yoga room and beyond. The magic and power of the training takes flight in the marriage of the philosophic with the solidity of the world.

Svadyaya and tapas are two of Patanjali’s essentials for a reason. From Arjuna to Ghandi, from Vishvamitra to Martin Luther King, from Hanuman to you - myth, story and scripture. Now is the time to write and live the story of who really are and to create the world that can be.

The faculty is just one of the stand out aspects of a Radiantly Alive Level I training. Instead of the industry norm of one or two different teachers, we fly in eight or more internationally acclaimed teachers from multiple different disciplines. As a result you will receive the highest level of teaching as well as a broad range of knowledge and understanding of the whole yoga spectrum.

Daniel Aaron - Program Creator, Lead Facilitator
Yoga teacher, writer and human potential coach, Daniel leads trainings, workshops, classes and guides people to live their potential for happiness, health and success. Creator of the world recognized Radiantly Alive Teacher Trainings in 2005, Daniel also founded the Radiantly Alive Yoga studio in Bud, Bali in 2012. His own obsession with leaning and living radiantly brought him to learning from many of the modern masters, traveling the world with enlightened teachers and to delving into radically nutrition and cleansing. Blending what he has learned into a unique system of self-enquiry, movement and breath work, Daniel reaches people with compassion and evokes a space of understanding to inspire people to see their full range of possibilities. An unquenchable motivation to awaken himself and spark enlightenment in others has resulted in a profound awareness of human potential, the obstacles to living awake and a methodology to reaching it. He and his partner Lianne (midwife, writer and teacher) travel and lead together, grow and learn everyday with their three children, and are most delighted and gratified by transformation and presence – in both themselves and those with whom they work.

Nicki Doane - Guest Faculty (US), Vinyasa
Born on the island of Cyprus in 1969 to diplomat parents, Nicki grew up traveling all over the globe. This instilled in her a wanderlust that eventually led her to India to study yoga in 1991. There she met Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (Guruji), and she immediately knew she had found her teacher.

Nicki is an authorized Ashtanga Yoga teacher who began teaching yoga in 1992. Although rooted in Ashtanga Yoga, Nicki’s teaching goes beyond the traditional. Her emphasis is on awareness: creating integrity within each pose that can be carried beyond the mat into daily life. She calls yoga a “life support system,” referring to her firm belief that yoga supports us in all the demands of modern life. Her classes combine meditation, asana, pranayama, philosophy, and poetry.

Nicki’s most influential yoga teachers include: Pattabhi Jois, Eddie Modestini, Gabriella Giubilaro, and Tim Miller. Once, Pattabhi Jois said to her, “You, yoga many lifetimes.” This says it all. She is a dedicated practitioner and a creative, inspired teacher.

The training itself will be held in the beautiful shala of Alam Puisi Villa in Pejeng, Ubud. Alam Puisi is just ten minutes scooter ride from the hub of central Ubud, with 25 villas in a rural surrounding and beautiful views of local Sawah's (rice paddies). You have the option of traveling out to Alam Puisi each day from wherever you choose to stay, or to stay onsite in one of Alam Puisi's beautiful luxury villas.

Each villa is stunningly laid out in a fusion of traditional balianes and modern architecture and each villa has its own private deck and swimming pool. While the choice is up to you to stay onsite in Alam Puisi or offsite at a place of your own choosing, we do recommend you stay onsite so you can maximize the time you have between classes.
