The Place - The Kaaterskill Inn:
With sweeping views of the Catskill Mountains and over 32 acres of breathtaking scenery, the Kaaterskill Inn is a retreat like no other.
Blessed with charm and good looks, this magnificent property boasts the best of what the Catskills has to offer: spectacular mountain vistas, acres of wooded and pastoral land, beautiful foot paths that wind along lazy rivers, age-old trees and more wildlife than a night out in Manhattan! Explore the grounds to see the landscapes and natural ecology that inspired the local Hudson River School artists.

The main guest house, a magnificent restored Dutch barn, houses the property’s luxury guest suites. But don’t let the countrified surrounds fool you: These rooms were designed with the contemporary traveler in mind. Modern luxuries abound, from jacuzzi bathtubs and spacious quarters, to in-suite fireplaces and private patios.
Secluded and unforgettable, the Kaaterskill is your connection to nature…at its most luxurious.

The Yoga:
You will be practicing with two talented teachers, one based in New York City and one based in Toronto, both with similar philosophies, yet different teaching styles. Both Mary and Kathy share one focus for this long weekend: how can they help each guest learn, grow, relax and feel connected on this retreat!

The vinyasa flow classes will have strong, creative sequencing designed to lengthen, strengthen and open up your body. The restorative and yin classes, will begin with a warming flow to prepare your body for deeper stretches (yin) and deep release and relaxation (restorative).

All classes will be set to inspiring music, have gentle hands on assists and adjustments and conclude with an aromatherapy savasana massage (bliss!).

The classes are suitable for all levels of yogi's and will include lots of variations.

The Food:
We take food very seriously! It’s not just the act of nourishment, but the source of energy. The primarily pescatarian menu, is locally inspired and has been designed to provide organic, fresh foods to nourish the body and soul.

* 3 nights accommodation in main guest house in one of the luxury guest suites.

Note: All the suites have a private jacuzzi bath, a wood burning fireplace and are quite large. Comfortable cots are available if three people would like to share a room. For pictures of the guest suites, visit:

All rates include a 8% NY sales tax.

A $250 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining amount is due 45 days before the trip start date. Please see below for full cancellation policy.

Note: Meals will be mostly vegetarian, with the option of fish, seafood or chicken at select meals.

(Note: Many people on retreat may wish to have a mini-detox from sugary foods and alcohol. But, this is your retreat! If you would like to have wine with dinner, we encourage you to bring your favourite bottle!).

*Six yoga classes (vinyasa flow, yin, restorative)

*Use of the grounds: farm tour (lots of farm animals!), hikes around and near the property.

Charges for Cancellation:

*46 days prior to departure - Deposit payment
*45-25 days prior to departure - $500.00 Cancellation fee
*24-1 days prior to departure - 100% Cancellation fee

Full payment is due 45 days prior to departure. If you need to cancel for some reason, and it's under 45 days, we would consider waiving the cancellation fee if you find a replacement.
