Have you ever wondered what teachers are really talking about when they mention the core? In this 2 hour interactive workshop you will learn about the muscles of the core, what they do and the anatomy of centering (stability). A well as some theory, you will experience for yourself how to work these muscles optimally to reduce the risk of injury and to enhance and strengthen your spine and the entire body. These principles will then be put into practice with a challenging 60 minute core focused session that will be layered with progressions and modifications.
Your trainer is Amanda Pountney - a certified Master Teacher with Body Control Pilates Association with over 15 years of teaching experience training and supporting teachers.
The workshop will close with a wonderful relaxation, refreshments and Q&A.
