Full Description

MAHASHIVARATRI (the Great Night of Shiva) is one of the major Hindu Festival celebrated annually in reverence of Lord Shiva, the Great Yogi.

It is the night when He is believed to have performed the Tandava Nitya, the dance of primordial creation, preservation and destruction.

The Universal Spiritual energy generated by favorable planetary position is at its peak during Maha Shivaratri and the prayers offered to the Supreme Lord (Shiva is the Supreme Consciousness) on this night has a profound impact on His devotees.

Come and be part of this special unique celebration; we will recite mantras to invoque Lord Shiva (Om Namah Shivaya), explain more about the importance of this festival and its meaning and conclude with a Vedic Fire Celebration for purification and blessing.

It is our wish and blessing that you must not pass this night without knowing at least a moment of the vastness of this emptiness that we call as Shiva. Let this night not just be a night of wakefulness, let this night be a night of awakening for you.
