During this hands-on workshop at SpiritBear Studio, you will gain insight into the purpose of Mala Beads and learn how to incorporate them into your meditation practice as well as tips for using Malas to relieve anxiety and/or to focus your intent during your yoga practice.

Prior to this workshop, Carrie will personally reach out to you to assist you in selecting an intention for your Mala Beads, which will help inform the gemstones and colors that she will have available for you.
Carrie will begin the workshop with a brief history of Mala Beads and discuss their purpose and structure variations. You will then design and create your very own 108-bead, hand-knotted Mala necklace. After the malas have been constructed, Carrie will guide you through a mantra-based meditation using your new beads. Price includes all materials, healthy brunch and snacks, an optional afternoon yoga practice, and loads of fun!
