Martini Weekend

This very special weekend event will be held at the Terrace Yoga Studio and will feature workshops with Laura Martini from Kelowna. Laura’s “Martini Yoga” classes are an enthusiastic and integral fusion of styles and postures that are specifically designed for our modern culture. Martini Yoga classes are structured without being predictable, they are accessible for everyone, and they are never without a healthy combination of fun, compassion, and relaxation. She holds retreats all over the world

Transcend Stress: Restorative Practice & Yoga Nidra Meditation
Sink in and go deep, this 2 hour workshop will take you beyond the busy day to day thoughts while creating a sense of ease and relaxation in both your body and your mind.

SATURDAY 10AM-NOON
The Fundamentals of Building a Powerful Yoga Practice: Yoga Lifestyle & Vinyasa Breakdown
Expand the foundation of your physical yoga practice as well as how you can bring yoga into your day to day life. Come learn the yogic principals and philosophies and how to brings these principals on and off your mat.

SATURDAY 2-4PM
Leave your ego at the door and invite fun in!: BOGA* & Feel-Good Assists
This afternoon workshop will be entirely focused on fun and identifying how your ego can be holding you back. This workshop will begin with an invigorating practice and will finish off by playing with contact yoga/duo asana (assisting others through pairing up in postures).
*BOGA is a vinyasa flow style yoga class infused with pilates and ballet inspired micro-movements. This class is a full body workout designed to strengthen and stretch the muscles of the body and is appropriate for all fitness levels

SUNDAY 10AM-NOON
The Art of Being Present: Yoga Discussion & Yin Practice
This workshop will focus on the practice of being present though the longer holding of passive postures conjoined with yoga discussion and some take home experiential practices.
