Standing balances are difficult because they require leg strength and upper body flexibility in addition to the ability to balance on one leg. Balance poses challenge you to become your most present, and available self. Therefore the opportunity for self-reflection, expansion and evolution will be ripe in this workshop! This series is open to all levels, you will be met exactly where you are at and given the tools you need to progress at your level.
The workshop includes simple exercises and balance principles that help you learn to feel your body’s center of gravity and control it, as well as understand fear and move beyond it. Above all, we will learn how to enjoy balancing and equally important, learn how to enjoy falling! Finally, a series of poses will be learned, starting with the easiest balancing positions, like standing, and gradually increasing in difficulty to challenge even the most advanced will close with an exploration of how lessons learned in physical balance can be applied to find balance in the larger arenas of life, including relationships, business, wellness and others.
