Happiness is an inside job, however you need to know how love yourself. If you cannot love yourself, you have no love to give to others.
Ray will guide you through our meditation session with this thought in mind.
Experience and find out how simple (not easy, but simple) meditation can be and what huge benefit it can have for your day to day happiness. The meditation practice will be lead by Ray Rivera, a long time yoga student and Mahayana Buddhist practitioner.
Meditation affects you in many ways, you will gain better focus, have less anxiety, improve your memory can become more creative and compassionate.
Research has shown that meditation is linked to larger amounts of gray matter in the hippo-campus and frontal areas of the brain. More gray matter in your brain can lead to more positive emotions, longer-lasting emotional stability, and heightened focus during daily life. Meditation has also been shown to diminish age-related effects on gray matter and reduce the decline of our cognitive functioning.
Bring your favorite sits pillow, chair or cushion for a one hour calming meditation practice.
