Full Description

We’re returning for a second year to this very special hidden gem in the beautiful Brecon Beacons for a 4 night experience of deep cleansing, healing and meditation.

Stage One of the retreat will focus on cleansing on a physical, mental, emotional and energetic level, to allow a deeper experience of clarity and stillness in stage two.

Stage Two will be a deep inner journey spent in peaceful silence, while continuing a programme of meditation, yoga, group activity and time alone.

Stage Three will be a gradual return to the external world, integrating your experience and grounding you before you leave.

With exclusive use of the accommodation wing and the barn annexe, we’ll have total privacy and seclusion from the outside world. The house is surrounded by 45 acres of lawns, woodlands, ornamental and wild gardens, all of which you are free to explore in the breaks between the meditation sessions. The relaxing sound of the River Usk running past the house makes a perfect backdrop for a peaceful walk. (And wild swimming is allowed in the river if you’re feeling brave!)

The programme begins after dinner on Wednesday evening and ends on Sunday mid-morning.

The retreat will give time to connect with others, as well as a chance to experience a deep stillness and quiet, inside and out. Above all it will be a light and joyful atmosphere through which you can explore the healing power of meditation as part of a supportive group. Meditations and physical practices will be drawn from both the Kundalini Yoga and Pranic Healing traditions.

An early morning Kundalini Yoga/meditation practice will also be offered each day at 5am for those who wish to participate (advisable and very enjoyable, but not compulsory. Time to nap afterwards before the morning session begins!)

We will spend part of the retreat in silence, which is a very special and profound experience, and not one that we get very often.

Please note, the period of silence will include no texting, calling, emailing or using electronic devices, as this will cut straight through a meditative state – both yours and your companions. Contact numbers for my mobile and for the venue’s landline will be provided so you can still be contacted immediately in case of any emergency.

Arrival is Wednesday 6th November from 4pm and departure approx.10.30am on Sunday 10th November, to allow plenty of time to get home in daylight and decompress before the new week begins. Travel time from Windsor is around 3.5 hours, from London 4 hours.

To book your place and receive details of how to transfer the payment, please email or call/text me on 07789 510193

Only 10 bookings will be taken for this retreat.

Accommodation is in shared rooms (twin/triple) with several separate bathrooms shared by all. Some single rooms may be available on request (early booking advisable). The rooms are large – very comfortable and full of character – and are located in a self-contained wing of the gorgeous and historic Penpont House, which also includes a communal sitting room and kitchen/dining room.

If you are coming with a friend or group please let me know when you book so I can arrange room shares accordingly. There may be one or two spaces available for single occupancy, so please contact me if you are interested. These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
