The Mindful Eating program is a 4-week lifestyle series and a non-diet approach to maintain healthy body weight while eating real foods.
This lifestyle series is a process of relearning habits around awareness of our bodies and food and eating - valuable for those who eat as a coping mechanism for stress and emotions.
Once we identify eating patterns and triggers, we can use our awareness as a strategy to address mindless eating by focusing on physical hunger and satiety and conscious eating practices.
Over 4 weeks, you will learn meditative and mindful eating practices to help you understand which situations trigger mindless eating and how to access skills to change with relationship with food.
Each class will begin with a seated meditation, followed by discussion and presentation of the topic for the week, and will conclude with breathing and relaxation meditation practices.
A weekly home practice offers the opportunity to bring these new healthy habits in to daily life.
