I am pleased to share what I have learned over the years by offering an eight-week mindfulness course, called Mindful Living. Modeled on the format of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, the sessions are strongly influenced by my long-time teacher, Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, who lives in France.
This course gives you a chance to explore yourself and your life more fully with a group of like-minded people. It’s an invitation to move towards greater balance, peace and participation in life through a more conscious awareness of our attitudes, feelings and impulses. Our sessions may involve working with stress, burnout, pain, illness and the many other challenges and demands of everyday life, according to the needs of the group.
The more deeply you participate, both in and out of the course, the more you will experience the benefits of mindfulness: an improved sense of wellbeing, more resilience to life’s ups and downs, a better ability to cope with pain and illness and a more authentic relationship to your life and with the people around you.
