10 am – 5 pm – Lunch is provided – vegan and vegetarian options

Facilitators:

Jan Hummer is the Executive Director of Open Minds, Inc. an upcoming non-profit, which teaches communities in Western, MD mindfulness education through centering/breathing, mentoring, yoga, mindful eating, and nature-based activities. She started with a loose meditation practice about 15 years ago, but seriously started practicing when attending Naropa University for a Masters degree in Contemplative Education.

Jan grew up in Frederick County, MD and is a mom to Delia Ayn and works part time with Fox Haven Farm and Retreat Center in Jefferson, MD. She also teaches mindful youth, family, and adult workshops.

Jennifer Egupov, is the Owner of of a small business that specializes in the Holistic healing needs of her clients and community. She is an Intuitive Healer, Spiritual Mentor/Advisor and Reiki Master/Teacher. Jennifer is also certified in AromaTouch Therapy and is an Ordained Spiritual Minister that openly and lovingly adapts to all spiritual beliefs. In addition, she is a board member of Opens Minds, Inc., a non-profit organization that supports out reach programs for Mindfulness Education.
