You'll delve into some of the yogic philosophy, modern science, and anatomy behind the practice. Also, each week you will "test drive" various easy-to-access approaches to M & M and find out what works for YOU! Suitable for beginners AND for the more experienced.
People have been meditating for thousands of years, but while the practice is not new, science is just catching up to its benefits. Studies show meditation and mindfulness can have a positive impact on stress, anxiety, focus, creativity and even relationships. Sitting still and exploring our inner world can be a bit intimidating, so take an introductory 8 week course so you can learn some simple tips and tricks to help you get into a mindful and meditative head space.
