Full Description

For many of us December can end up being all about giving and doing and doing and giving, so to maintain our equilibrium it’s important to take some time to reflect on the multitude of blessings we receive - from our physical comforts such as clean water and heating to the more conceptual gifts of information, sunlight, insights, sustenance and love. It is not until we take the time to notice all that we receive that we can fully appreciate the bounty of everyday life and experience the beauty of gratitude on a meaningful level.

In this mini-retreat we will create for ourselves the time and space we deserve to calm our minds and relax our bodies through a combination of:

Gentle, mindful yoga
Pranayama breathing practices to oxygenate your entire body
Restorative yoga postures
Simple, effective mindfulness techniques you can take away with you
Deeply relaxing guided meditation

Receive & Restore will be led by Meredith Gunderson who has been practicing yoga and meditation since 1996. She is known for her depth of experience and knowledge in meditative practices as well as a precise, calm and nurturing delivery of yoga instruction. Meredith has recently moved to London after teaching and studying yoga in Cambridge and India.
