The goal of Hatha Yoga is to bridge the body and mind with the breath in a series of physical poses called asanas. Prepare for a gentle routine that often includes sun salutations, balancing poses, forward bends, and back bends to work the body and focus the mind. These movements all lead up to the final relaxation - the blissful Savasana at the end of class.
Mary has been practising yoga since 2001 when she immediately fell in love with the way it made her feel. Upon moving to Britain from the United States, Mary began a journey to become a yoga teacher. With her love of yoga and a desire to share its gifts, Mary embarked on a Diploma course with the renowned British Wheel of Yoga. Mary is also a certified Pregnancy Yoga teacher, completing her training through Yogacampus and Sitaram Yoga.
