Mommy & Me classes (8 weeks to crawlers) are a fun way to reconnect with your body while enjoying one on one time with your baby. It’s a great way to take part in an understanding community of other new moms! You are more than welcome to bring extra blankets, and stuffed animals during this class, though Santosha provides all props needed for class including the yoga mat!
This class will help you learn how to teach your baby to calm down during crying spells or when he or she gets really fussy. This class will also help your baby's brain development, body awareness and simple poses to help with your baby's digestion. Asanas (poses) for moms will also be incorporated into the class as well.
This class provides a comfortable, supportive environment where moms can meet other moms and create special memories with their babies.
Prior yoga experience is not needed to join this class. New moms should receive permission from their care provider to begin this or any exercise postpartum.
