Moving into Stillness, a Yin, Yang Yoga & Mindfulness Retreat
Allow yourself to slow down from the every day buzz and become still. In this retreat we will focus on becoming more aware of the different layers of our being; the physical, energetic, emotional and mental body. The yoga and meditation practices may move us into our inner space and allow us to experience that moving into stillness is a way to nurture and befriend ourselves and awaken to our lives in a refreshed and more open way.

In the morning we’ll engage in a Vinyasa style of asana practice to wake up and stretch the body, whereas in the evening/afternoon session we’ll focus on the more stationary Yin-poses, the energetic body and mindfulness meditation. Each class will be a combination of meditation, asana, breathing and visualization practices as we explore the different layers of our being. Practices are suitable for all levels of experience. During the retreat you will have plenty of time to enjoy Kura Kura and it’s surroundings, experience Bali and engage in the Balinese Spiritual way of life.
Annemieke van Noort is born in Holland and a dedicated teacher and practitioner of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as well as Yin Yoga. She did her teacher trainings in Bali and Amsterdam. Katiza Satya and Sarah Powers have been her main teachers, but she also studied with a range of other yoga teachers such as Govinda Kai, Michael Gannon, Max Strom and Jill Satterfield. Annemieke is a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhist meditation and regularly studies with her meditation teachers. Her own style of teaching is characterized by her warm and calm presence, the clear and inspiring way of transmitting her knowledge to others and her unbiased attention for every individual student. In her teachings she interweaves the yoga practice with Buddhist meditation techniques.
