Nath Yoga knolwedge as transmitted by the current Nath Sampradaya lineage holder, Ashwin Mohan of Adesa Yoga Vidyalaya, Mysore.
Type of Event
Each session is in the morning 7:00 am to 8:00 am
This course cuts through the rampant misinformation present in the Yoga Community and presents the very first form of Sadhana as laid down in the Nath literature by Gorakshanath.
Chandra Mandala Paddhati or Method of the Lunar Construction (translated literally) works on activating the sensory neurons concentrated in the body at 16 major locations. Each location is also known as 'Aadhara'. The outcome of this Sadhana is heightened sensitivity to the internal and external environment and connecting to the desires unique to each individual, also known as Ichha Shakti. This lays the foundation to development of Jnana Shakti(capacity to strategize) and Kriya Shakti(capacity of execution) that lead ot fulfillment of desire and enjoying the resultant happiness and bliss.
The course is outlined as follows and requires attendance through each session for the entire body of knowledge to fit together and make sense to the sadhak.
* 16 Aadhara Dhyana
* 64 Asana for 16 Aadhara(s) with Aadhara Dhyana
* Initial Surya Mandala Sadhana
* Initial Agni Mandala Sadhana (Tapasya)
* Nagayama (Cultivation of Naga Vayu)
* Kirkirayama (Cultivation of Kirkira Vayu)
* Aakara Dhyana
