NATURE, BODY and SOUL Week of Inspiration
During the NATURE, BODY and SOUL week of inspiration in the Nightingale Valley on the beautiful Greek island of Samos you’ll experience how mindfulness, yoga and qi gong can totally change your way of living.
Type of Event
During this week of inspiration we start every morning (except the free day) with hatha yoga, breathing exercises and meditation.
Every night we bring Qi Gong in practice. Qi Gong can heal your mind and body. We learn this week Shibashi: a form consisting of 18 movements. Through the slow, relaxed and conscious movements you gain the ability to internal harmony and balance. Your body is soft and thoroughly practiced, your emotions are calmed down and your mind is brought back in a peaceful state of wholeness.
During the two Mindfulness workshops you will learn to shift attention to the ‘here and now’ and leave other things to what they are. This way you can achieve some form of relaxation or discharge; in the head and in the rest of your body. And one day we will go for a mindful walk in the beautiful wooded Nightingale Valley with its splashing streams.
In addition, we visit the excavation of the Temple of Hera in Ireon. This will be under the guidance of Hillie Kuipers, the author of the book “Kélenóh, the last high priestess of Samos”.
