Full Description

The Program

Our aim is to create new healthy and sustainable habits in your diet as well as help reduce any accumulated toxins in the body (especially if overindulged over the festive period!).

This program consists in a week of daily vegan meals, natural juices, soups, medicinal plants and herbs and plenty of hydration that will ensure nutrition needs are met and the detox is maximised.

The program is developed by Ursula Honig (Ulla Lala) chef and alchemist at Yoga Weeks, professional nutritionist and naturopath. You will have a personal wellness consultation at the beginning of the week, a mid week check and final assessment at the end of your week.

You will finish the week, with newly found energy, vitality, feeling lighter and stronger.

The Yoga
The Yoga classes are tailored to assist this program, working on the digestive system. We will combine restorative posture and dynamic practices to give a boost to the metabolism. Arlette Amouyan will be in charge of the retreat practices.

Schedule for the week:

Day 1 - Sunday 10th of January
Arrivals and Welcome
17.00 – introduction to the week and detailed explanation of the program. This will be followed by one to one consultations with Ulla, to get a personal assessment.
19.00 – Dinner
The rest evening will be free to relax.

Day 2 – Monday 11th January
Morning detox routine (all instructions will be given at the Introduction meeting).
9.30 – Yoga practice – Focus on twists and digestive system
11.30 – Vegan Lunch
Afternoon free to rest, relax, enjoy additional treatments or explore the city.
19.00- Light supper

Day 3 – Tuesday 12th January
Morning detox routine
9.30 – Yoga practice - Focus on back bends – raising up the energy levels.
11.30 – Vegan Brunch
Free time
17.00 – Meeting with Ulla for mid week check.
19.00 – Light supper

Day 4 – Wednesday 13th January
Morning detox routine
9.30 – Yoga practice – Focus on breath and restorative postures
11.30 – Vegan Lunch
Afternoon free to rest, relax, enjoy additional treatments or explore the city.

Day 5 – Thursday 14th January
Morning detox routine
9.30 – Yoga practice – Focus on balancing and inversions.
11.30 – Vegan Lunch
Afternoon free to rest, relax, enjoy additional treatments or explore the city.

Day 6- Friday 15th January
Morning detox routine
9.30 – Final Yoga Class - dynamic practice followed by Yoga Nidra
11.30 - Vegan Brunch
12.00 - Final consultation with Ulla, where you will be able to share your experience, get a final assessment as well as indications on how to sustain and maintain these new habits and personalised advices.

Teacher: Arlette Amouyan

Arlette has been practicing Yoga for 15 years and teaching for 10 years. She studied in London first where she got her 500 hrs Teacher Qualification, and followed her studies in India, and back in London with a second training in Ashtanga Yoga.
She started teaching in London, and been living and teaching in Ibiza for the past 5 years. She has been teaching in many retreats and detox retreats.
Her style of Yoga is a fusion of Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Power Yoga, and will always be tailored to suit the group and all individual needs.
For this retreat her program will complement and assist the daily detox and focus on keeping the energy levels high.
Her style of teaching is dynamic yet compassionate with and extensive knowledge of the body, and special care and attention to each individual's need.
