Full Description

Tap into that part of you craving excitement and exploration, in addition to relaxation, when you vacation. This retreat is for those who want something off the beaten path. Rather than face crowded beaches with high prices geared to tourists, explore this exquisite part of Central America before everyone else discovers its charm. Most people don’t realize Nicaragua is the safest country in Central America. This area in the Northern part of the country is quiet and clean with warm water, endless beaches and volcanoes in the distance. Not only can you hike the volcanos, you have the opportunity to VOLCANO SURF, which should be at the top of every adventurer’s bucket list! But don’t let that overshadow surfing in the ocean waves, perfect for both beginner and advanced surfer. If surfing isn’t your thing, enjoy a massage or the pool with nearby hammock and the serenity that comes from not being glued to a computer screen (internet is limited here, allowing you the ultimate escape of unplugging). You’ll love everything about your home for the week at El Coco Loco Eco Resort, from the friendly staff to the outstanding food which is plentiful and caters to all dietary preferences. Let’s not leave out the twice daily yoga lead by myself and the phenomenal Randy Ferguson, who will guide you with his unique style of hands-on restorative classes. He’ll also be offering Pranassage sessions, which are a creative synthesis of yoga and bodywork.
