Cost is $400 early bird (by March 21) or $450 after plus lodging at Breitenbush. Lodging prices begin at $59 per night for a dorm, $62 lodge, $80 cabin. Prices include 3 delicious, vegetarian meals per day.

What does it mean to find and share your authentic voice?
How do you speak to the hearts of your students?
How do we foster an experience of deep presence in our students while sustaining our own?

These questions and more will be answered in this 4-day retreat and training, open to anyone who has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and wants to nourish and support their teaching experience. Our focus will be on tapping into and nourishing the Inner Teacher - the wise seat of the teacher within. We'll explore the topics of authenticity and presence through practices of asana, meditation, pranayama, journaling, group discussions, hands on therapeutic adjustments and teaching exercises.

Your Facilitators: Liz Heffernan, Peggy Profant & Robyn Smith

Peggy Profant discovered yoga as a teenager in the early 80's and continues to live and learn from it's wisdom. Teaching since 1997, she has been influenced by Iyengar, Ashtanga Yoga and Anusara in which she is a Certified Instructor. She is owner, (steward) of Om Shala Yoga in Arcata and has been leading retreats, yoga immersions and teacher trainings since the studio's opening year in 2008. It is Peggy's joyful passion to share the teachings of yoga and musings on life with her students.

Liz Heffernan, owner of Soma Yoga Institute and E-RYT-500, is an international yoga teacher and Integrative Yoga Therapist (CYT-1000). She draws from over two decades of personal yoga practice, 20 years of teaching and extensive training in the Hatha yoga systems of Kripalu, Ashtanga and Anusara. She currently directs and leads yoga teacher trainings and workshops in worldwide locations, provides unique one-to-one mentoring for yoga teachers wishing to improve their skills and delivery, instructs daily yoga classes and offers private therapeutic sessions. She is known is for her ability to bridge the gap between the ancient perspectives of yoga and contemporary daily life. Her teaching weaves together philosophy, creative sequencing, clear alignment, mindful breathing and compassionate self-inquiry to form a tapestry that reflects her heartfelt commitment to this transformative path.

Robyn Smith, owner of Inner Freedom Yoga in Arcata, CA, is a certified Anusara yoga instructor, Hendricks Big Leap Life Coach, Integrative Yoga Therapist and Hanna Somatic Educator (Somatics). She has been teaching yoga for over 20 years, leading annual yoga teacher trainings since 2005, and helping people in pain through Yoga Therapy and Somatics privates and workshops since 1998. She studied extensively with Anusara’s founder, John Friend, from 2001 – 2012, as well as numerous other top instructors. She’s sought for her expertise in postural alignment and therapeutics, as well as the heartfelt messages and the playful spirit she brings to her classes. Her teachings are inspired by her dedicated meditation practice, studies in Buddhist and Tantric yoga philosophies, poetry, nature, and pertinent life lessons.
