In this playful workshop, we will break down the wide world of poses that happen on your hands. We will move through a series of joint stretches that help to safely open your wrists and shoulders, as well as incorporate core exercises specific to arm balancing. Open to all levels.

Mika is inspired by the precision of alignment, intelligent vinyasa flow sequencing and the essence of classical hatha yoga. She incorporates elements of her own practice into her classes, while adding an eclectic range of music, breath awareness, anatomical alignment and core integration. She adheres to the philosophy that wellness is generated from the mind and body experience, and she is a firm believer that building a bridge between the two is the most direct pathway to overall well-being. Mika teaches at Pure Yoga, Greenhouse Holistic and Kula Yoga in New York City. She is also a NYS licensed massage therapist. Find out more about her at:
