We are delighted to announce the return of these popular Sunday afternoon workshops where we show you ways of getting your own RESET button in good working order after the sludge of winter: ways to REFRESH and soften, to let go of stress, unwind, and point you in the direction of learning how to relax. Along the way you might learn that it’s not necessary to get caught up in the hectic demands of modern life, as you stop for a while, breath, feel and simply be present for yourself.
These 3-hour sessions include Somatics, Breath awareness, Restorative Yoga, Meditation, and Relaxation – so they’re a wonderful opportunity to effortlessly PAUSE…RESET…and REFRESH - just like we have to do regularly on our computers. All of the practices we explore are aimed at putting you in touch with yourself, with what lies underneath the surface.
Gentle Somatic movements help release muscle tension, stiffness, pain and tightness, assisting Neuro Muscular connections between the brain and the body; Restorative yoga does just what the name suggests - supporting and teaching us to let go and simply surrender; Relaxation and Meditation guides us to ‘integrate’ these processes more fully.
These workshops are not covered by yoga class passes.
