Biomatic (Experiential) Anatomy 2016
Pelvis & Sacrum

First meeting Saturday 21 May 2016 10.00 -14.00

-We Realize our own skeletal structure and function in the lower body.
-We will learn the techniques of "tracing the bones" ( pelvis, sacrum, great trochanter) and moving the bones ,to achieve the greatest mobility.
At the same time we use conscious breathing (mindfull breathing) and conscious touch, (mindfull touch) to recognize the maximum range of motion( passive & energetic).

-Physical Exercises involving the relationship between Pelvis and Thorax ,Pelvis and legs.

- Weight transfer exercises (and what happens to the greater trochanter), sciatic tuberosities -hip joints and the role they play while transferring weight in space.

Second Meeting, Sunday, the 22nd of May 2016, 10.00-14.00

-We will repeat all the exercises to get deeper and implement them in our own personal way of movement .We will replace old movement patterns with new movement patterns.

The seminar is addressed to all those who want acquire knowledge on any kind of movement (static or in space), pupils and teachers (yoga, dance, pilates, ai ki do, tai tsi etc.) and those they want to improve their everyday life through the relationship with their bodies.

Instructions for the participants:
Put on comfortable and lightweight clothing in several layers. We often work in couples,so the light clothing helps to touch the bones over clothing.
-Bring a notebook, you may want to note something.

I will teach you how to increase the mobility and the flexibility so that motion becomes much lighter and relaxed. At the same time, the release of bones of your body will create a mental euphoria, consciousness and awareness of your deeper shelf. Learning how to think of bones when we move, instead of muscles, increases mobility flexibility, motion becomes much lighter and relaxed and muscles work with the wright effort- the minimum- as much as we need to make a move.
