Full Description

Ritam Healing Arts is proud to offer an Introductory Thai Yoga Therapy Training and Certificate Program in Manitou Springs, Colorado for the upcoming Summer 2016 season. With two separate modules held at SunMountain Wellness Bed and Breakfast in June and July, this is your opportunity to absorb the teachings of Thai Yoga Therapy as you enjoy the peaceful and relaxing environment of Manitou Springs.

The healing art of Thai Yoga Therapy is an ancient and sacred system of healing with roots in Yoga, Ayurvedic Medicine and Buddhist spiritual practice. It is a unique and powerful system of therapy, which combines acupressure, asana (Yogic stretching exercises), gentle twisting, energy work and meditation. Thai Yoga Therapy stimulates and balances the flow of healing energy within the body, opening the areas which are blocked bringing the person deeper into balance and harmony for health, happiness and wellness of being. This system creates a powerful release of stress and tension, an increase in vitality and well-being and it deepens the connection between mind, body and spirit in both the giver and receiver.

Ritam Healing Arts teachings integrate the root teachings of yoga and Ayurveda along with anatomy, therapeutics, Thai Yoga therapy, holistic healing and spiritual practice for a complete, deep and transformational experience. This work is a living expression of compassion, loving-kindness and healing.

Held at the newly-opened SunMountain Wellness B&B in Manitou Springs, CO, there also will be opportunities to participate in yoga, meditation, massage, spa services and hot mineral water soaking at the nearby sister site, SunWater Spa.
