The Fluid Body will advance your knowledge and practice for in-depth personal study as well as for those who are pursuing a yoga teacher training program.

Day 1 - Opening Side Body, Lower Ribs and Diaphragm with Tias Little

Day 2 - Opening Shoulder Girdle This day we review the shoulders, pectoral muscles and rotator cuff muscles. We use slow unwinding movements to release the shoulders plus active weight bearing in yoga postures. We review the importance of sleep, dream and myth in yoga practice.

Day 3 - Bridging the Pelvic and Shoulder Girdles This class focuses on preps for headstand, chatturanga dandasana and pinchamayurasana as we strengthen the serratus anterior muscle. We practice twists for the spiral sheath, used in all inverted poses.

Day 4 - Opening Hands This class focuses on opening the hands relative to the interior arm and the shoulder girdle. We focus on the energetics of the lung, heart and pericardium. We cover the Art of Listening and the theme of the river from Hesse's Siddhartha.
