Pranayama and Meditation in Suan Lum (Lumpini Park)
Every Saturday morning during the month of May, George will be conducting lessons on the art and science of Pranayama. Pranayama is a practice of energetic cleansing, balancing, and a method of entering meditation and samadhi.
The class will start with some light stretching before starting seated practices.
There will be opportunity to ask questions and discuss the various techniques used, their effects, personal feedback given, some humorous stories, and a very powerful practice with time remaining for meditation and relaxation techniques. Start your day in an invigorating and healthy way!
*Do not eat anything before the class and healthy dinner Friday night for the best practice.
*Bring a block or cushion and mat for sitting on the give yourself the most easy posture while we sit for practice.
*Enjoy! Breathing is the essence of life and should feel fresh, easy and enjoyable. While pranayama can be powerful it should never be forced!
