Pranayama is the practice of breath work to control the circulation of energy in the body and mind. Meditation is the practice of self study. Both practices open the door to a profound experience. Deepen your understanding and knowledge of pranayama & meditation by exploring different techniques and discovering their effects.
In this workshop, we’ll discuss and practice various types of meditation and pranayama to empower you to choose what techniques fit you best and to practice on your own. We'll not only address the benefits that yoga, meditation, and pranayama can offer, but also the contraindications and Ayurvedic implications.
This class is for those new to the practice or those wishing to explore more. No yoga experience is required. Chairs, bolsters, and blankets are available for you to choose your most comfortable seat.
