6 week session- Friday 6:30-7:45
This class is designed to help you find comfort during pregnancy and prepare you for labor and birth. Physical postures (asanas), meditation and breath-work (pranayama) help you relax and adjust to the physical, emotional and mental demands of pregnancy. Yoga can alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. A safe, open community allows you to freely discuss any issues, from discomforts and concerns, to the wonderful new changes your body and baby are experiencing. Please consult your doctor before starting this or any exercise routine. Please bring a pillow, blanket, and water to every class.
