Backbends are some of yoga's most exciting and invigorating poses, yet they can be challenging and even intimidating for many students. In this class, you'll learn how to prepare your body for backbends, as well as what level of backbends are appropriate for you. We'll integrate a little anatomy to help illustrate the alignment, and practice plenty of poses; both the preparations and the backbends of your choice. Taught by Julie Gudmestad.
