Type of Event
The Radiant Heart Workshop was created to improve common postural patterns, such as, a weak, rounded spine, rounded shoulders, tight gluts, shortened hamstrings, and pinched neck by awakening the back body and connecting with muscle groups many are not even aware of.
These patterns comes from hours of continuous sitting with emotional implications including a closed off heart, feelings of isolation, tension, stress, and generally feeling separated from our environment.
This workshop is specifically designed with postures that encourage openness in the chest allowing the radiant light within to shine. You will learn to connect with the energetic root of your body - the pelvic floor and enliven your spine through focused muscular awareness.
Jen Hilman is a licensed massage therapist and yoga teacher with a background rooted in Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram, and Anusara.
In this three hour workshop class she will be presenting a guided meditation, the RadiantHeart sequence itself and additional time for discussion.
