Join me to melt away the tension and stress of the week. In this hectic world, where it is difficult to switch off, it is helpful to find a time to be still and quiet. This Deep Relaxation workshop creates a space to give yourself permission to stop and relax. Whether you have a stressful job, are a parent to young children, have trouble sleeping, are living with or recovering from illness, or for whatever reason you would like to relax and re-energize, this workshop will support you.
The session consists of some breath work, yoga movement to relax the body, an extended shavasana (layout) with guided meditation, and a mediation. There will be an extended shavasana, so bring anything you need to be comfortable laying down.
You do not need any previous experience of yoga, but a willingness to let go! Relaxation does not come naturally to everyone, but with practice can become second nature.
For many people, the relaxation at the end of a yoga class is their favorite part. So treat yourself to a total immersion!
