Restful sleep is vital for our physical and mental health and total wellbeing. Many of us do not get sufficient restful sleep. This workshop will help you establish more favourable conditions for sleep.

Restful sleep is vital for our physical and mental health and total wellbeing.
However, many of us suffer from insomnia, disrupted sleep and sleep apnoea and experience symptoms like a busy, racing mind, nightmares, sweating, the need to go the bathroom during the night, dry mouth, brain fog or fatigue upon waking, fatigue during the day, poor concentration and upper and lower respiratory complaints.

The workshop is held over 2 three-hour sessions and is a combination of presentation and guided practices, with some time for questions and answers.
It will cover the following 4 components with an aim to equip you with practical knowledge and protocols that you can integrate into your daily routine to improve your sleep.
1) Yoga postures for restful sleep
2) Breathing techniques for restful sleep
3) Dietary and lifestyle considerations for restful sleep
4) Meditation and Yoga Nidra, the art of conscious rest

You should wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. Yoga mats and other props are made available, but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.
