This workshop will consist of Restorative yoga poses to help students understand, both theoretically and experientially, the differences between normal, deep and yogic breathing.
Type of Event
This workshop will open up with a Restorative sequence in preparation for breath practice, with intelligent poses unfolding from supine to seated pranayamas, or different types of deep breathing techniques. This introduction to breath workshop will help students understand, both theoretically and experientially, the difference between normal breathing, deep breathing, and yogic breathing. These pranayamas: Ujjayi, Viloma, Anuloma, Pratiloma, and Nadi Sodhana will all be demonstrated, instructed, observed, and refined. Open to all levels.
