Restorative Yin Yoga
Restorative yoga allows us to release muscular tension brought on by stress, injuries our daily routines and even the exercise we do.

This is the Yin to our Yang lifestyle. This session gives you permission to let go. It allows us to release muscular tension brought on by stress, injuries our daily routines and even the exercise we do. During the session I will give you time to pause and melt into the poses. When we allow the muscles to soften over time, we then aid the fascia, ligaments and tendons to gain a little more space.
In restorative yoga we hold our postures for a longer period of time, often using props such as blocks and bolsters to support the body. In the 2 0r 2 1/2 hour session I introduce more breath work (pranayama), which will give you a more mediative practice to soothe the nervous system and calm the mind. You will leave feeling nourished and de stressed. Props are provided, including eye pillows to help you relax in savasana. If you have your own equipment feel free to bring it along.
