Restorative Yoga Bliss

Release into restorative yoga with therapeutic body work including Shiatsu, Thai massage, aromatherapy, and hot stones. In this gentle and soothing yoga class, you will be rejuvenated and nurtured in our Urban Yoga Retreat. All levels; beginners welcome.

Full Description

Restorative yoga is a meditative practice. Passive supported stretches are combined with conscious breath in order to allow you to release deep tension patterns in muscles and connective tissue. Restorative yoga encourages and supports parasympathetic nervous system response, "rest and digest." This class is suitable for all body types and even for those with chronic injuries. Pregnant participants are also welcome; modifications are made for certain postures. This two hour class also involves gentle pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. The practice is thematically aligned with the seasons in order to connect us to the macrocosm of which we are a part.
