By utilizing props to help relax the body and remaining in the poses for several minutes, the relaxing effects are felt deep within the connective tissues. Thus, Restorative Yoga provides a state of no effort and no movement with a brain that is quiet. The body is more able to fully relax and the mind is able to feel peaceful and serene. One of the best outcomes of Restorative Yoga is that it makes it easier to remain peaceful and calm off your mat. It helps you to respond with logic and clarity, rather than react with anger and emotion.
