Yoga Practice – Power Flow Yoga

Power Flow is our vinyasa style yoga, where movement and breath are connected, creating a dynamic flow. The focus is on breathing into each posture, calming the mind and focusing on each movement and how it feels in your body. It is a faster paced class, perfect for the morning to awaken and enliven the body after sleep.

Yoga Practice – Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a restorative style of yoga, focusing on softening into the body, melting away tension through longer held postures. Yin yoga works into the fascia, connective tissues, ligaments and joints of the body, encouraging you to surrender into each pose. Yin yoga is a quieter practice with a more internal focus.

Pranayama / Meditation / Savasana

Pranayama is the control and release of the breath. ‘Prana’ is breath or vital energy in our body, ‘yama’ is to control, and ‘ayama’ is to release. With pranayama practice, you will learn how to breath consciously and fluidly, calming both body and mind.

Meditation is the art of slowing down the tumultuous ‘monkey mind’. Meditation can bring focus, clarity, emotional positivity and a true sense of calm to your being.

Savasana is a state of full relaxation for the body and mind. Savasana often occurs at the end of the yoga class, where the body can completely relax and integrate everything that has occurred during the physical practice of yoga.

‘Strength and Alignment’ Yoga Workshop – by Rosie McCaughey

Hone, tune and align for optimum
Join Rise Founder and Physiotherapist Rosie McCaughey for a strength focused masterclasss- tap into your potential through core, shoulder and pelvic girdle strength, the secrets to progressing your practice as well as preventing injury. We will explore preparing the body for a variety of poses including some arm balances and inversions through connecting to your centres of strength. Accessible for all levels!

‘Ayurveda and Yoga’ Workshop – by Casey Cheah

Ayurveda was developed thousands of years ago in India, and is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. Ayurveda is said to be the science, whilst yoga is the practice of the science. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of Ayurveda, how it applies specifically to you, and how yoga can influence your body’s natural healing mechanism. Bring a pen and paper along and immerse yourself in the knowledge behind the science of yoga, then roll out your mat to feel the effects of an ayurvedic yoga practice.


Indulge yourself in a 30 minute classic back massage to soothe your body and mind. This is pure YOU time to relax and enjoy, allowing healing hands release built up stress and tension. True bliss!

Nature Walk

Amarant rests in 25 acres of beautiful rainforest. There are plenty of nature walks to experience, as well as a lookout, water springs, sacred spaces and other natural wonders to explore. Please wear only closed toe shoes for walking.

Hibiscus Room: A cosy space with filtered views across the valley. Set up for a single person (with king bed), this suite shares a bathroom with Owl Loft, complete with bath, shower and separate toilet - SOLD OUT

Owl Loft: The Owl Loft has windows to the outdoors on 3 sides, and is a warm and comforting space. This room is a 4-share with 2 single beds on the ground floor, and 2 single beds up a fixed ladder in the Mezzanine. The Owl Loft shares a bathroom with Hibiscus Room which has a bath, shower and separate toilet.

Woodland Loft: The Woodland Loft is a large, spacious room with a comfy couch, large en-suite bathroom, and beautiful valley and forest views. There are 3 single beds on the ground floor, with one single bed up a fixed ladder in the Mezzanine.

Yarra Valley Room: A large private room for a couple, situated below the main building with a beautiful wide deck overlooking the valley. Complete with your own en-suite, you will truly feel at peace in this space.
