The restorative practice of letting go and releasing tension THROUGH The asanas, which are supported by blankets, blocks and other props and often held for several minutes at a time. Restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. The workshop will be slow-paced, allowing the muscles to release tension and stress. The Restorative practice calms the mind and nervous system, boosts the immune system, enables you to turn inward, and focus on the breath. It is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities. We will be together in Satsang, the practice of like-minded individuals coming together to elevate our practices together.
Participants that have limited movement ability ( to get down onto the floor and up, old or new injuries, tightness, inflexibility), will greatly benefit from this gentle yet powerful yoga modality. Come nourish your body, mind,heart and spirit.
