Whether or not you are already an instructor, plan to become one, or just wish to deepen your practice physically and energetically, this training will provide you with the skills and tools necessary to uncover your hidden strengths and blind spots, jumpstart your own journey to power and self discovery, and will help to widen your clientele base as a result of this transformative experience

This program is for:
Individuals (men and women) wishing to pursue international yoga teacher certification or for continuing professional development purposes as related to any field of physical fitness, wellness, personal training, education administration, or sports management.
Anyone who has a curiosity about the healthy practices and lifestyles associated with teaching yoga, or who’s gotten hooked and has been practicing regularly and wishes to take their yoga and yogic practices knowledge to the next level.
Individuals who don’t plan on teaching will benefit from this great training, supported by a senior mentor and her team, you will deepen your practice both physically and energetically, and set you on your path to self discovery.
Someone who is looking for a career change, who is ready to connect with and inspire students, and ready to work anywhere in the world.

This Yoga Teacher Training is an Intensive Program during the dates:
January 23 – February 9, 2017
Consisting of a total of 16 sessions, all hours are mandatory attendance

Weekday Sessions, 8.00am-8.00pm:
Monday 23rd – Thursday 26th *
Sunday 29th – Thursday 2nd
Sunday 5th – Thursday 9th
* including Wednesday January 25th which is a public holiday

Weekend Sessions, 8.00am-8.00pm:
Saturday 28th
Saturday 4th

Additional Hours (Required):
Movie Screenings: dates/venue TBD
NEPY TT Certificate Presentation: Feb 9th, 8.00-9.00 pm
Farewell Event: venue and date TBD

REQUIREMENTS for NEPY Certification:
Timely and full payment of all course fees
Know the JIP FLOW in advance, basic knowledge of Sanskrit terms
Attendance and participation at all classes, movie nights, final practice day, and award ceremony
Fulfillment of all homework assignments and teacher assessments
Satisfactory grade or above on practice teaching assessment by Tamsy Markham and/or Assistant Head Teacher
Passing grade on written anatomy exam

REQUIREMENTS for Yoga Alliance, USA RYT-200 Certification:
To become a RYT, you must:
Complete training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS®) at the 200-level, pay the applicable fees, and submit your RYS certification for approval.
All training hours must come from the same school and multiple trainings cannot be combined to meet the 200-hour requirement.

For those looking to refresh their skills, complete a training with a Registered Yoga Alliance RYS-200, or maintain YA status by applying training as (contact hours) Continuing Education Units (CEU)s.

Participants in Audit Program, should already have current YA RYT 200+ status, or have completed a similar 200 hr certification program. (Non-YA instructors will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire, and upload supporting documents to determine qualification to this program.)
Attendance of all training sessions, public yoga classes, and completion of assigned homework, is highly recommended. Selection priority will be given to those who can commit to attend all mandatory hours.

Changes of clothing, including layers

Journal and a pen
Yoga mat and props (if you prefer to use your own, otherwise will be provided by the studio)
Water bottle to stay hydrated (electrolytes are important)

Teacher training is rigorous, on a physical and emotional level
Get enough sleep, eat well, and hydrate
Ask others for help and support through your journey
At our first session you will be given a copy of all policies and procedures and a NEPY manual for this training
