It’s the Caribbean island you dream about: warm sun, constant trade winds, calm, turquoise Caribbean Sea dotted with shallow coral reefs abundant with colorful fish, rugged mountains, luscious rainforests, waterfalls, tropical fruits-bananas, coconuts, mangos and papaya-and magnificent flowers. Small fishing villages, charming smiles from locals and magnificent Mother Nature will melt away thoughts and feelings that no longer serve you.

A restored colonial-era West Indian sugar plantation is our home for a week of balance and bliss. Feel transported in time from the moment you step into a magical land of peace where ancient trees, tropical flowers, fruit orchards, nature trails and the Caribbean Sea work wonders for your soul.

Balenbouche Estate is a one of its kind, 75 acre heritage site where past and present are intricately interwoven. Friendly fishing villages, the lush rainforest, Pitons, deep blue Caribbean Sea and the island’s most exclusive resorts are all nearby.

This eco-chic resort offers 5 unique cottages, ventilated by nature, all with mosquito netting above beds, and fans. Each cottage offers special historic and artistic features.

Brandy Hill is the Founder of Banyan Tree Yoga. She has been teaching yoga for over 7 years and is also a Reiki Master and has dreams of becoming a wandering yogini. Yoga brings her inner strength, patience and has helped her be a better version of herself. Brandy particularly finds gratitude in holding the space for her students’ growth and transformation whether through attending classes, workshops or yoga teacher training. She is excited and honored to bring her students on this magical retreat! Being surrounded by nature and like-minded, supportive community is the ultimate setting for letting your light shine bright from within!

Over the past 20 years Joan Ruffels has considered St. Lucia her island home. For 5 years she lived on the island full time and has subsequently spent several months there each year. She is excited to share the island that is dear to her heart! Joan’s yoga voyage has included extended stays at various ashrams since beginning yoga teacher training with Mukunda Tom Stiles, founder of Structural Yoga Therapy and the Yoga Therapy Center, Boston. She feels confident that upcoming completion of yoga teacher training with Banyan Tree Yoga is part of her life’s unfolding journey. Joan has adventured with her family as home and world-schoolers and is currently using her education in cultural anthropology, occupational therapy and teachings with Masters, shamans and wisdom keepers in practice as an Integrative Healing Professional.

All meals are based on the freshest local products and are served family style. We’ll dine together along a beautiful table on the verandah overlooking the gardens and property, or in the main plantation house dining room. From the start of the day to the end, our meals will be memorable.
