Sampoorna Yoga Teacher Certification Course

Learn the fundamentals of yoga. This is a strong introductory course that will give you the knowledge, experience and confidence to teach a Sampoorna Hatha Yoga Class. Upon completion you will receive the diploma, “Yoga Shiromany”. Registered with Yoga Alliance for the 200 hours level.

This course can be repeated as many times as you wish for further enrichment and experience.

The following will be covered in this 2 week intensive:
Yoga Lifestyle-for health & happiness.
Raja Yoga- eight limbs of yoga
Pranayama- introduction to the subtle life force system
Asana- theory & practice, two sessions daily
Meditation- the science of stilling the mind
Philosophy- Samkhya, Bhakti, Karma & Gyana
Yoga Anatomy- structure & alignment for yoga
Subtle Anatomy- uncovering the chakra system
Chanting- mantra, kirtans & shlokas
Ayurveda- understanding vata, pita & kapha
Yogic Diet- principles of Sattva, Rajas & Tamas

Participation in all activities is required for successful completion of this course.

$2,800 registration fee covers accommodation, vegetarian meals and course materials.

5:30 am – Wake up
6:00 am – Meditation, Nada Yoga, Lecture
8:00 am – Asanas
10:00 am – Brunch
11:00 am – Karma Yoga
12:00 – Personal Studies
1:30 pm – Snack
2:00 pm – Chanting Class
2:30 pm – Main Lecture
4:00 pm – Asanas
6:00 pm – Dinner
7:30 pm – Meditation, Nada Yoga, Lecture
