Full Description

My good friend Jeffrey Halliday will join me for this series. Jeffrey is the founder of The Wisdom Tree Project, and uses Focusing and Coaching to help people make sustainable improvements to their well-being.

​Major transitions in life can be difficult for everyone. We often spend a lot of time thinking and talking about our stressful situations, but how much time do we spend feeling them? Our bodies hold a quiet wisdom that can help us during these times. This series of classes is designed to help you be present with your body and mind, so you can sense your problems, understand them deeply, and resolve them quickly.

Whether you're going through a divorce, a loss of employment, death of a loved one, a diagnosis of cancer or other illness, or another major life stress, this pairing of Yoga and Focusing can help you connect with yourself and move through the situation, with insight and wisdom.

We'll be practicing Yoga, and we'll be Focusing together. What is Focusing? Focusing is a "perfectly natural" process of ​experiencing one's bodily sense of a problem. By becoming aware of how our concerns and challenges feel in our bodies, we can learn how to respond to them with insight and wisdom.
