The intention of this training is to provide a yogic path towards conscious, mindful living. It is through a deep devotion, to the teachings of yoga and to the self and through staying humble and grounded that we receive the vast, rich offerings that yoga has to teach us.
This training is grounded in the roots of Vinyasa yoga and will be delivered with a high respect and integrity towards the tradition of yoga. Students should expect a training that will trigger a journey into the self by diving deep into philosophy, history, physical practice, breath work and meditation. In addition, other aspects of yoga will be explored such as the physical and subtle body, Ayurveda, and the methods of teaching yoga. This program will take all the ancient teachings of yoga and apply it to modern, everyday life.
This Yoga Teacher Training is designed to cater for both those who want to deepen their existing practice and understanding of yoga and those who want to learn how to teach yoga. In order to fulfil both intentions, this training will be divided into 2 modules.
Module 1 - 100 hours Immersion
This will be a 10 day intensive to dive deep into the teachings of yoga. Each day will include a 2-3 hour practice followed by a day of lessons. The morning practice will be rooted in Vinyasa and include meditation, pranayama (breath work) asana (physical practice) and shat kriyas (cleansing techniques). The afternoon lessons will cover yoga philosophy, history and subtle anatomy. Students can expect to dive deep into self study and leave having learned all about yoga and it’s roots, how to apply it to everyday life and a deeper understanding of the self.
For those completing only module one, required readings and full participation is still required however completion quizzes and practicums will not be expected.

Methodology, physical anatomy, business, hands on assists, lifestyle and ethics will be taught in addition to a practicum that will need to be completed. Shorter practices will be taught by Steph to allow for more time for students to practice teach. By the end of this module, students will leave feeling confident and prepared to teach yoga classes.
For those doing the full 200 hour YTT - Module 1 must be completed and is a prerequisite to starting Module 2. You will also have additional homework, quizzes, a final exam and a practicum to complete in order to receive the teaching certificate.
