Whatever your experiences of the last four months have been, one thing is for sure - we have all been effected by it at a deep level. Some of us have been working even longer hours than usual, some of us have not been able to work at all. Some of us have enjoyed the quieter pace of life, whilst others have felt very isolated and alone. Some of us are now delighted to be moving more fully out of lockdown, whilst others are feeling quite anxious and nervous about this new normal.
Whatever our experience, we could all benefit from stopping, slowing down and giving ourselves some time and space to digest where we are at right now. What we are feeling. What we have been through.
This workshop will allow us to really slow down, turn inwards and connect deeply to our body, breath, sensations and emotions on a moment to moment basis.
In doing so, our mind can begin to quieten, our body can release tension, tightness and find more ease and our nervous system can begin to calm down.
The soothing and contemplative practice of Yin Yoga invites a turning inward. In this afternoon of gentle and nurturing practice, we will focus on some slow, mindful movement, followed by a yin sequence to bring ourselves into a more harmonious place, both physically and mentally.
From the quiet and stillness of the longer held yin poses, we’ll move into a guided meditation practice and finish up with a long and delicious relaxation practice.
You’ll leave the workshop feeling more balanced, calm, deeply rested and better able to navigate life as it is right now.
